Straightening Services
Our
atmospherically controlled straightening department consists of 18 screw
presses and 3 hydraulic presses with 24, 75 and 150 ton capacities. Methods
of straightening include press, peen, flame, hammer and vibro peening.
All of these methods are used in strict consideration of customer tolerances,
sizes and limitations.
Straightening capabilities: flat work up to 6"
thick x 24" wide x 40" long, round broaches up to 3" diameter
x 36" long and rolls up to 10" diameter x 48" long. Round
tooling tolerances can be met by using rollers, V-blocks, St. Marys rollers
or centers. Our straightening personnel have an average of 16 years experience. |
